Neurologist, Good Samaritan Hospital

Dr. Noor Sachdev has greater than 10 years experience in a private practice general Neurology clinical setting. He personally takes care of patients with Ischemic Stroke, Intracranial and Subarachnoid hemorrhage, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, FTD, Peripheral neuropathy, Myopathy, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS and Migraines. In addition to his robust outpatient practice, he is Vice Chair of the Department of Neurosciences at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. He has been an active participant in the development of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at Good Samaritan hospital. Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose was one of the first Certified Comprehensive Stroke center in the United States. He takes call, performs consultations and directs the care of time sensitive treatments such at tPA for Acute Ischemic Stroke patients. He also collaborates with Neurocritical care teams, Neurosurgery, Neuro interventional radiology and Internal Medicine physicians in the care of extremely sick patients in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Noor Sachdev has taken care of well over 1500 patients since his arrival in 2008. He graduated from the Keck school of Medicine at USC in 2003 and completed Neurology Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2007. Dr. Sachdev then went on to complete a Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular fellowship at Columbia University Hospital in New York in 2008. In addition to his Neuromuscular training and General Neurology Board certification, he has an additional certification in Vascular neurology. He also holds a membership with the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has been an active member of the community since his arrival in 2008 and has given several educational lectures to the public, staff, nurses and emergency medical services.
